My name is Sofia Esperanza. I am of Puerto Rican decent, born and raised in New Jersey. I have a Bachelors of Science in Integrative Neuroscience/Minor in Spanish as well as a Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences. I am passionate about medicine and aim to build a career focusing on providing care to underserved communities as a physician. Aside from my academic journey, I strive to make impact within the communities around me through my artwork and writings as I navigate this beautiful life.
